The records consist of early deeds to the India mission property, purchased by the Hermannsburg Mission Society and later purchased by or turned over to the Joint Synod of Ohio. These properties in turn became the property of the American Lutheran Church. The deeds were inventoried in 1912 and in 1936, and the inventories are included with the records. They are arranged alphabetically by station name.
